Glen Orchy is easily reached. By road
follow the A82 to Crianlarich and Tyndrum, then keep on the
A82 heading towards Fort William. Approximately 5 miles
north of Tyndrum, just before reaching the village of Bridge
of Orchy, turn left onto the B8074 signposted Glen Orchy.
Arichastlich and The Old House are located about 4½ miles
along that single track road. (Journey time from the centre
of Glasgow approx. 2 hours). There is also a regular return
bus service
from Glasgow to Fort William, stopping at Bridge of Orchy.
By rail,
The Caledonian Sleeper Service
runs through the night from London to Fort William - why not
arrive at Bridge of Orchy in time for breakfast? A regular
train service leaves Glasgow each day for both Bridge of
Orchy and Dalmally. We are happy to arrange a drop-off and
collection.
