Facilities
The ground floor provides an extra large farmhouse kitchen and lounge with a heart-warming open fire, a master bedroom with a four-poster double bed and full en-suite facilities, a laundry/ washing/ fishing tackle room and a large shower room with WC. There is ample hanging and storage space for outdoor clothes and a drying cupboard. On the first floor there is a spacious hallway, two generous twin bedrooms and a bath/shower room with WC. Every window looks out over wonderful views.
Your hosts can be at hand to ensure you enjoy the best from the glen.The equipment provided in addition to normal kitchen fittings comprises fridge, separate upright freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, “toastie” machine, microwave and toaster. There is a 28 inch TV with VCR and DVD/CD. Telephone, fax and internet connections are available from the owners. The Old House has a filtered private water supply. A “Total Control” electrical heating system efficiently warms the property and powers the constant hot water system, this and ample fuel for the open fire is provided free of charge. All linen, towels etc. are also included in the rental.
A non smoking policy is operated and well-behaved pets can be accommodated subject to a charge.
